Guest sachinwalvekar
Hi, I have been working for an architect, on interior and exterior architectural rendering of an upcoming hotel on a island in atlantic ocean. Please do let me know your comments and critique liberally. Thanks & Regards, Sachin Walvekar
Krisztian Gulyas
I would make the material of the wall a bit rough/bumpy (just so it's barely noticeable). It looks too flat and perfect and if you use something like 250-255 (white) color, lower it to 235-245.
Guest sachinwalvekar
Thanks Krisztian....I have been consistently getting comment on wall in my other WIP renderings for the same project. I am working on it. What do you think about the sky, wooden platform surrounding the pool ?. I am also reducing the height of the palm trees. Warm Regards
Krisztian Gulyas
It should be more yellowish OR more brownish. It reminds of a stone material more than wood. Just google "pool wood" (just that) and you'll find some nice images. Compare those colors with yours and you'll see if it needs changing. The palm trees' trunk are too thick IMHO and the leaves are too small. Maybe you should consider modifying that too. Try changing the tree's color in the foreground to a darker one (and to a brighter one which is behind that tree). Just make it a bit darker than the one behind it so it will look like the first one is closer to the camera. Guest sachinwalvekar
Hi Kirsztian, Many Many Thanks for your quick reply. Agree with everything that you have mentioned. I have seen the pool wood and yes the strips need to be dark and have variation to look natural. I will make the changes and post the corrected image. mario22582
I think you should explore different angles so the building does not appear to be a scale model. Also try using vray sun with some vray proxy trees. The current landscaping looks too "cut and paste"
