aaronmolina
Hi, I could use some suggestions. I have a bed model with sheets and blankets, but now I have to create materials for it. Does anyone know of any good resources for bed sheets and covers?? Or any good tutorials on this subject?? Any help would be appreciated.

aaronmolina
Thanks, Stanislav. Isn't exactly what I was working for, but I'll look at cgtextures. And yes, I used marvelous designer 2 to create the bed. Here's a link to a screenshot:
John Dollus
I would just use a material without a pattern myself but you can search tileable fabric and come up with a few fabric pattern collections that will work
aaronmolina
Thanks, John. That's exactly what I was thinking, but I was having trouble with choosing a correct color. AND I tried applying a material both tileable fabric and solid color, but it loses the detail since there are a lot of folds. Do u have any suggestions?? John Dollus
using an extreme falloff material will help keep the fold definition intact. here's a good reference: http://gennyx.blogspot.com/2009/11/its-material-world_11.html it's for maya and mental ray but the same principles apply. Just know that when they talk about the samplerinfo node, it equates to a falloff map in Max. Here's one for max/vray: http://jamiecardoso-mentalray.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/creating-velvetsuede-finish-with-v-ray.html
