timmylee
I was wondering if any one could help me with what I am doing wrong? I am trying to render an image about 3300 x 2800 pixels wide. When I render the small version I have no problems but when I render the large version it as though Vray Rhino won't render the glass. The rendering starts normally but once it hits an area with glass it freezes. I downloaded the material directly from the Chaosgroup Website (Architectural Glass). Does anyone know why the larger version would be freezing and if there is anything I can tweak to correct this? Do the glass material interpolation settings have anything to do with this? It is very frustrating.

williamcai
Do crop renders. Render parts at a time. Thats how I did my A0 render with Vray on Rhino. But do yourself a favour timmy and get out of Rhino into Max asap if you want to do arch viz. I've been using Rhino for the past 5 years during uni and the load of rubbish I've come across during rendering is unbearable. The way the textures have to be set-up and the errors. I stuck with Rhino for so long because the modelling is so easy!
