sheheryar_noor
Hi everyone, I have watched some Vray tutorials lets say many but while modeling and having same settings like the tutorial don't give you the exact rendering what shows in the tutorial, as wise says"Practice makes a man perfect" i am practicing my own and errors i made can polish my skills but still everyone needs help. Maybe most of you don't like my idea my idea is that" I am sharing a simple kitchen very simple with Vray, the problems i am facing is" sink is greenish" (Using stainless steel with ward selected for sink) Some areas are kinda dark no lighting there, those areas could be fix with adding more Vraylights there but it ain't a nice thing. In tutorials i see they add just two three lights and everything is fine I am enlisting my problems below: Sink base is greenish Some parts of the kitchen specially below the top cabinets are kinda darker than other parts of the kitchen Shelf is not shiny i have increased and decreased reflection and glosiness (Is it due to bad UV mapping) ? And one more thing i haven't applied any texture to the wall yet do i need to texturize everything then render? and for the window would it be fine to have a VRAY light there only for daylight or using HDRI image on plane or cylinder would be fine? I hope there would be some great expert Vray visualizers who can look at my scene and point out my errors( if they have free time:D) Me and others like me can gain a great knowledge using this way, beginners like download the scene they render and they see the errors but after getting some tips from the expertise we render again and see the difference and we can know the actual cause of the ugliness of bad rendering Would anyone of you be ready for this please? sheheryar_noor
Reason behind sharing scene file rather than an image is that anyone can download it have its own settings and then show the render image(if would like to share) probably master minds give master tips, different expertise so different settings, people would be able to share their experience and beginners like me can gain much knowledge by this way It is kinda odd but i think it would be really helpful for beginners Beginners download the file they render it and then taking some tips(advice) from people on the forum again render and compare it with previous. Wouldn't it be easy to cover the errors

Nic H
you are doing a lot of talking and not many pictures. i don't think people are going to download some random scene and make it 'better' for you mate. post up some pics of some specific issues and there will be loads of help. sheheryar_noor
http://i46.tinypic.com/33mpd1w.jpg Here is the snapshot, i found out the reason of greenish sink, it was the green ceiling which was showing in the sink but after changing the gama output value to 1.0 it looks fine but still if you see there is a very little greenish color shows where on the left side where i have sketched black line, the red line area looks fine and the yellow line area is kinda rough. Another problem is "Less lighting" you can see in the below pic. http://i46.tinypic.com/21dq34p.jpg Is it OK now or i need to upload setting and view pics too?
