CEJ1976
Hi, Does anyone know how to apply the floor generator script to a vertically curved surface? For example, does it work on a curved wall? If not, does anyone know of a similar script that will generate me random wood planking on a curved wall? Thanks.
Scott Schroeder
Run the floor script on a flat object (don't bevel the planks), turbo smooth once and have it separate by smoothing groups to give you a nice base quad to apply a 2nd turbosmooth to get a finer mesh + rounded edges, then bend//FFD/etc your shape. beestee
EDIT: ^^^Yeah, that. Hi, Does anyone know how to apply the floor generator script to a vertically curved surface? For example, does it work on a curved wall? If not, does anyone know of a similar script that will generate me random wood planking on a curved wall? Thanks. You could create it flat as if it were a floor using the script, then use modifiers to get it tessellated and bent to fit the need.
