Scott Schroeder
Check to see if you have track notes in your file by going to Graph Editors -> Track View- Dope Sheet -> and look for "Motion Clips" or something like that. If you see it has a little + next to it, that is your problem. These things can get into your file and cause it to become bloated and slow. If you do, simply type this into the MaxScript listener window: trackViewNodes[#Max_MotionClip_Manager].track = copy trackViewNodes[#Max_MotionClip_Manager].track then type GC() http://arddigital.co.uk/remove-notetracks-from-3ds-max-scenes/

Scott Schroeder
Just make sure you find out where those things came from. The often come riding in on props and they infect your file. You need to clear them out of not only your current file but the file they came from.

Scott Schroeder
Glad to see my script is still being put to good use As long as there are track notes, this thing will be a life saver. So pretty much as long as Max is around or they put in a catch that checks every so often or on load/save/import and warns you.
