It's been at the top of the Autodesk uservoice thing since 2011 and has been ignored since. What's the point in all this feedback if nobody ever acts on it?!

In all fairness, I have seen a lot of the uservoice items acted upon.

36 items "completed" in General Feature Requests:

8 items "completed" in Default Settings:

http://3dsmaxfeedback.autodesk.com/forums/76981-default-settings/status/329524

34 items "completed" in Small Annoying Things:

http://3dsmaxfeedback.autodesk.com/forums/76763-small-annoying-things/status/329524

2 items "completed" in SDK and Scripting Enhancements:

I use the term "completed" in quotes because it appears that if the functionality already existed when the request was submitted, it would receive completed status to return the votes, so those numbers are not completely accurate.

They've implemented a lot of fixes and tweaks we've all been calling for, it seems. At least, that's how it appears so far from the relatively tiny amount of info we have on 2014.

If anyone has tried that "leaked" trial, I would LOVE to know if they finally fixed the Nitrous viewport background image map resolution issues. Can anyone confirm? I've been told "yes" but until someone can try it out it's just speculation. I want to roll out 2014 as soon as possible if this issue is sorted. Alignments in 2013 has been painful in the extreme...
