What the best solution for splotches in dark áreas? - High settings? - Light on área (fake)? - Ambient Light only GI? So thanks for all and have a good day! vinametalmetal
Hello again, after 2 days working to find the better solution, i reached at the conclusion: - Vray Light must have 24 subdivisions, looks like there no great impact on render time, because I m using irradiance with disabled Multipass . - On Light cache enable only Retrace Treshold to avoid light artefacts on corners. 1 for value (default value). Those options solve 100% my mid tome/dark áreas splotches. Main settings used for tests - good render time but not for portifolio! ehhehe. Image Sampler - Adaptive DMC 1/6 GI - Irradiance + Light Cache Irradiance Medium Preset / HSPH 80 / Interp.Samples 40 Light cache 1500 / Sampler 0,02 Default / Retrace Treshold Enabled DMC Sampler Adaptive Amount 1.0 ( assuming 0,85 only when we have light effects on scene) Noise treshold 0,007 - Mediun quality and good render time Min Samples 24 -------- VrayLight SkyPortal on the Windows (store with irradiance checked, to fast render, but low detail on shadows ) / Sky Linked with vray sun / VrayPhysical câmera and the usual methods to control de exposure. Thank you, and I hope this can help someone. Edited April 14, 2013 by vinametalmetal Forgot to put main settings used for tests
vinametalmetal
Final test, this scene was created to generate dark áreas and White dots, but is total solved. White dot was solved using a proper antiliasing sampler and take care with vraylightmaterial.
