Gabriella_A
Good Evening, I'm here to make perhaps a "strange" question. I normally work in my home office, in a dedicated room. Now I need to make some renovations in my home , and I need to temporarily move my working space. The largest room i could use for this purpose Is my bedroom.... But the problem is... how to deal with the noise of the pc rendering overnigt???? This will not occur every day, but could be frequent during the week. There is the possibility to work from a room to another in remote? Using a Monitor, a keyboard and a mouse, but with the machine in another room?? I see that there are programs that allow to use a remote desktop, but I will need two pc.. and I suspect a delay/lag in working with a 3d file... There is an hardware that can be used with this purpose? I foud this one, but is only for watching TV .. and there is no mouse and keyboard to be connected.. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/intel-wireless-display.html Thanks in advance, I hope I made myself clear. kawpaitek
If its quite a short distance maybe you can try using longer cables for your monitor, mouse, kb, etc. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
notamondayfan
I would just use longer cables as a temp measure. Just look on-line for long cables, loads available. You only need usb cables for your mouse and keyboard, and monitor cables to get you up and running.
Gabriella_A
I can't use longer cables. The bedrooms are in another floor of the home, the distance is not very long but not at the same floor. Any other ideas? thanks Gabry
Bruce Hart
You may wish to fix the noise in the computer itself, which is probably fan related. There are numerous videos on Youtube - just search "cooling fan noise"
Nic H
just get a cheap water cooler operating 3dsmax remotely is a pain for anything other than viewing to be honest...
Fooch
it sounds terrible, but the human body does adjust to noise easily. I would prob fix the fan and get use to it if its just short termed.
