danb4026
I often work with landscape architects that are very specific with their plant choices. All models and 2d images that I have found use a generic nomenclature, such as "tree 01" etc. It is virtually impossible to find files with real names. Forest Pro has names, such as "ash tree", that are somewhat more specific, but not enough variety. Is anyone aware of anything that provides more identifiable plants? notamondayfan
Xfrog have a large choice, although I have never used them so can't comment on quality at all. http://xfrog.com/category/species.html
Scott Schroeder
Evermotion used to have the scientific names on some of their collections. Onyx will give you the proper names too.
jameswelch
Autodesk Seek has a selection of plants you can download that use their Latin names as a description: http://seek.autodesk.com/search/Tree?source=SearchBox&globaldd=globaldropdown.option.f
