Vray dr rendering unmatched buckets?

I've searched and found some threads and tried setting the gamma in the 3dsmax.ini file for the render nodes which are all rendering the buckets different than the workstation. the nodes are running amd opty's and the workstation is dual xeon with hyperthreading. I have no maps in the scene, very simple teapot against a curved cylinder with white standard vray material on background and blue vray mat on teapot with some refections. I have 4 vray lights and one vray dome which I had an hdri on, but I took it off to test and the buckets are still uneven. Can anyone please offer a suggestion? I have some projects I need to do with vray1.5 and old max8 and need to get these tests working before I start in on the projects...thanks.

Nevermind...I just fixed it...I copied the HDRI folder to each node and set the HDRI map on the dome light to the c drive so each computer will look locally...I restarted max and it works...I guess I didn't set it correctly or thought I removed it when I didn't...hope this helps someone else.
