Mario Pende
Hi folks! I was wondering if anyone here has maybe got this course? (opinions, reviews...) http://www.thecgschool.com/v-ray-bundle/ I already have an old course "Vismasters:V-Ray Video Training for Architectural Visualization" wich was realy by faaar best Vray video training that I watched. This seems like an updated version. I contacted them and mr.Brian was kind enough to say that this new vesion is similiar to the old one but more in depth + you have 3 more additional courses. What do you think? Edited April 22, 2013 by del82

Dave Buckley
Patience is a virtue. Hasn't Mr Brian already given you what you need to know? You've kind of answered your own question. You said that the Vismasters course was the best you've seen. Mr.Brian said that this course is essentially a more in-depth and up to date version of the Vismasters course. Plus you have 3 more additional course. So . . . I don't have the training, nor have I seen the outline/contents, but what I can tell you is that it is better than the Vismasters course you have great praise for ... and more. Guest dialog
They are pretty decent. We have purchased the majority of videos from the site and have found them useful. Only thing they need are a table of contents with time markers to skip to certain subjects. I would purchase again.
Mario Pende
Thanx Desmond! What other videos have you bought from them?
Guest dialog
We have purchased: 3DS Max System Resources Photoshop Advanced VRay 2.0 Training VRay Advanced VRay Beginner The CG viewer is giving us some problems with our websense on our end though when viewing the videos. If you are at a company with a similar setup you may need to work around this issue. If you are at home, then for me they play fine. I have also personally purchased all of the books on the website as they have some good tips in there too. Another great resource is www.lynda.com for tuutorials. The monthly membership fee is well worth it and provides fantastic training. I have also found the "Making Of" on this website after viewing the purchased videos are a lot easier to understand and they too provide some great information. anejo
Mario I purchased the v-ray advance bundle from the cgschool site about a year and a half ago. I thought they were very informative, and i still refer back to them on occasion. However, the main reason for me was to learn and use a better v-ray workflow, one that i still continue to use. The only downside to these videos are that they are recordings of live classes, so you'll get some interuptions. Overall, I would recommend them they're a good resource to have around.
