talalaniff
I'm a graduate and have knowledge in modeling, texturing, lighting, compositing, rigging and animation. However I was very interested in 3d visualization. I do not have much knowledge though in architecture, but i'm keen in learning. Im planning to create my portfolio, and jus do not know where to start. How many pieces should I include in my portfolio, and what do companies look for. Plus, what workflow do most of you use when creating a 3d visual. Please share your thoughts Thankyou
M V
An architectural background would certainly help. Knowing architectural terms and have an understanding of how to read construction drawings is a must. Your portfolio should showcase architectural work if you go into an arch firm looking to be employed. It will be a tougher sell if your portfolio is full of characters.
