Media player advice

Hello everyone,

 

I need to play HD video of clips that I create (3d animations, etc) on an LCD TV. Initially I thought of doing this by simply (and for budget reasons) inserting a USB Drive into the monitor but I found out I had a problem with LOOPING, since I need the videos to run continuously for 8 hours.

 

After looking around I was directed to buying mini multimedia players like the ones that Diamond or KWorld produce, and thought they were an excellent solution to my requirements at a low price, BUT I see so many bad reviews for these products that I am now not sure what to go for.

 

I think I could increase a budget if I could get a recommendation for a device that is truly reliable.

 

Other people have simply told me that I will not get anything more reliable than a DVD/Blu-ray player, Other people have suggested that I stream media through a WiFi network from a main computer, but this setup seems to complicate things as I originally just wanted to plug-in a USB Drive to begin with.

 

So please I need advice on which is the best road to take*
