3d max viewport problem

Actually you should enable viewport clipping and then adjust the arrows that show up on the side of the viewport until it goes away.

 

If I remember correctly, this problem occurs when you are extremely far from the origin and/or you have an extremely scaled object. If it is the later, the problem is not fixable in the VP but should render fine.
