STRAT
to save a file directly from autocad to pdf you need a small app called Acrobat DISTILLER - http://www.adobe.com/products/acrdis/main.html if you dont have this, i'd personally make a high res tiff from autocad into photoshop via the EPS method, then PDF it out of photoshop. trhoads
There are alos a few other programs out there that will create a .pdf document. Just run a quick search. Some are cheap, and Acrobat is expensive. But well worth it. Not too many clients have AutoCAD just sitting around the old desktop. We use it all the time. C.Vestal
I have tried several PDF converters over the years. Nothing is easier than simply getting Adobe Acrobat (full version) and printing my paper views to PDF. This is basically what strat is recommending. I say get the full version with all the features. If you have illustrator, opening up cad files in illustrator and exporting a PDF is very easy too. M2C
trhoads
I agree, Acrobat Professional is the best way to go, and 6.0 is very user friendly.
P.R.S. Sivakumar .
Why don't you try out an open source solution like PDF Creator which is downloadable free of cost from SourceForge.net? I find it very useful. Just print it out through the PDF Printer (which will be added to your printers list when you install this). Hope this is useful to you PRSS

P.R.S. Sivakumar .
Here is the actual link to PDF Creator - http://sector7g.wurzel6.de/pdfcreator/index_en.htm This too creates PDF directly from AutoCAD. I feel it is better than PDF 995. PRSS
