I have a cad file that seems to have z heights when i view in AutoCad 2002(view/3dviews/sw isometric). looks great in AutoCad. When i import to 3ds6 I lose the the z heights??? what am i doing wrong? MrCAD Posted October 8, 2004 Share Posted October 8, 2004 how did u assign heights in ACAD ? Change->thickness or Extrude ? you can try another alternate to export to .3ds from ACAD and then Import the .3ds files in max and check. .3ds files will not export 2D object in ACAD .. if possible post a screen shot from ACAD so we can judge what is going wrong. good luck, MrCAD http://www.mr-cad.com http://www.drapefx.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
