New Vray service pack

Hi:)

 

I was just wondering if anyone already tried the new service pack for vray from chaosgroup. What do they mean by LWF from the start? Does this only applies to the vray settings like choosing the right color map, gamma 2.2 in color map and dont affect colors checkbox ticked? Do we still have to change gamma and lut from 3ds max preferences?

 

Any insight about this?

I think it is just now by default, Vray will be set up to a linear workflow. If you simply assign Vray as the renderer, it will come in setup in the most absolute basic way for linear workflow.

 

It shouldn't be a replacement or an easy button solution for your current workflow.
