I know a lot of us have Dell laptops---the AC adapters that they used for many years are being recalled:

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Dell is voluntarily providing the Customers who purchased certain AC Adapters that were sold for use with some models of Dell LatitudeTM , Dell PrecisionTM and Dell InspironTM notebook computers (Part Numbers 9364U, 7832D and 4983D) with a free replacement AC adapter. Today I learned a little about product fire dangers--I woke up to a clothes dryer actively ablaze. Fortunately my fire extinguisher worked as expected. So all I lost was one dryer and most of my kid's clothes.

 

So if you have a Dell laptop look into this so you don't have a fire, too.
