jameswelch
Can anyone help with what is probably a fairly simple 3Ds Max question I have? I have an area of DTM for which I have a smaller aerial map for. I have applied the aerial to the DTM using a UVW map and turned off tiling so that it won't repeat over the wider area, which gives me this: I want to give a general green colour to the wider areas outside the Aerial map (i.e. the dark grey area) but can't figure out how to do this. Can anyone help? Thanks James
Matt McDonald
you can use a composite map. put your bitmap in the top layer. in the bottom layer use a color correction with the green color you want in the color swatch.
jameswelch
Cheers for the reply Matt. I did try that this morning but couldn't get it to work for some reason. Will give it another go in the morning at work
davetyner
can you use a multi-sub object material?
