Acheng
thank, yes, i used free point little below the ceiling and one ies sun thru the window. the sun itself produce not enough light for the overall rooms(some parts maybe darker). if i just increase the intensity for the ies sun than some parts would be overexposed. Anyone know how to solve it. BTW, what is the exact position to placed freepoint?. And if i want to have interior scene (without any sunlight) what photometric light or setting should use? vru
Hi Acheng You can use the point light for overall lighting and turn shadows off for it. Turn shadows on for the sun. This tutorial will be helpful. It uses fakeosity i.e no radiosity only standard lights. http://www.cgarchitect.com/resources/tutorials/smoke3d/tutorial3.asp Vrushali
thieverycorp
your renders look too hard. they lack of soft shadows and there r too many specular spots which kill the realism.
