Tommy L
Title says it all, I know animated mesh is possible with Vray Proxies. But is it possible to collapse the animated trees using a mesher and retain the wind dynamic animation? Perhaps Point Cache modifier? If anyones done this Id be interested to hear their experience before running down a blind alley, Thanks, Tom. cg_Butler
I know this was from four weeks ago.......and i think there is another thread where we've had a similar chat......but it is possible to just create an animated proxy directly from an animated tree. Just the normal way of creating a proxy. The .vrmesh will be pretty big, depending on the animation length!
Nic H
point cache on top - record to .pc2 - copy point cache - collapse stack - paste point cache back on as long as the vert numbers dont change
