Zdravko Barisic
I was just wondering, what the way you use to fill the HUGE areas w/grass? Multiscatter? ForestPro? Simple Vray proxy? What is the safest way for the areas, like 300x500m or even more? /a lot of close cameras, so the geometry grass is neede/ ... Also, forget about VR displacement, it is a very very very UNstable and full of errors for huge areas, whatever the way of tweaking you use... So, any expirience? jameswelch
My vote goes for Forest Pack, simple to use - fantastic results
Chris MacDonald
Definitely forest pack for me too. Insanely good plugin, use it on just about every project I do - plus a lot of render farms support it.
Corey Beaulieu
I'll triple the vote for Forest Pack. You place a few pieces of grass geometry and tell it the plane you want it populated on. It falls-off the quantity based on the camera and adjusts the area populated based on the camera you are rendering from. It also has different clustering patterns that enhance the realism of grass and planting in general.

notamondayfan
4th vote for Forest Pack Pro from me! But also plan your shots, and think about what is going to be seen. Have foreground elements (high detail) and background elements (low detail). this will help when rendering.
