pygoh
Hi all Considering applying for a 3D modeler/renderer job at a construction co in SanFrancisco. Any idea of the going rate for such a job at a big construction co (over 400 employees)? Thanx.
mbr
Don't know, but I'll bet it's more than you think.
trhoads
It might be substantial, but the cost of living in SF is very high. I have a friend that lives on Market Street, and he pays almost 2,000 a month for a 500 s.f. studio. It costs a lot to live and eventually work there. abicalho
If you're interested in researching housing, I'd suggest looking at http://www.craigslist.org or http://www.metrorent.com - both are in the bay area and may help you figure out the cost of living in the city. I myself rent a 3 bed apartment which is between 1200-1400 sq ft for 2100$ in the city. I have 2 roommates, so the cost is around 700 each. You can see our ad looking for roommates 2 months ago at Craigslist Alexander
pygoh
thanx for the replies. I'm still deciding whether I want to relocate to san francisco (from australia), and how much i'll have to ask for salary.
