miguelalba1
I imagine all you have big number of textures to manage and would like to know which programs you use or recommend to organize and visualize in a productive way. Also if you know any program to find and eliminate duplicated images. Thank you!

jfgiroux
my vote goes to XnView .... it's free/open source and has a lot of built-in functionalities like batch rename, batch convert, resize and so on and so forth ... there's even a mac version ... sometimes it's even my best friend

Reitveld
Adobe Bridge for viewing and batch renaming. I do also use Texture Discovery (http://www.texturemaker.com/download.php) to view and make sure textures are seamless. It is fast and easy. jfgiroux
XnView is free, open source and full of goodies, maybe it will fit your need regarding your window settings.
CRD
XnView is my current viewer. I like being able to open up different images in tabs and flip between them instead of having multiple windows open. It does have a few quirks that I may be able to fix if I tried to look through the settings hard enough, but it's slightly annoying that it displays all images with alpha channels cut out, so most of my exteriors don't show skies. Also, there are some images that flip 90 degrees like there is an auto-orientation happening that I can't figure out why a 3d rendering would trigger it. Overall, I'm happy with it, especially for the price. I used to be a ThumbsPlus guy back in the day till they went paid only.
jfgiroux
Hi ... for your alpha channel problem just right click on the image in the preview window (on browser mode not on tab) and uncheck use alpha channel ... or just hit Ctrl+H Edited October 23, 2013 by jfgiroux
