Randy liddil
I have about 50 studio max scenes that are pretty small in size and only about 20mb each. I need to send them all to Backburner to render. Is there ANY way to send all of these scenes to Backburner through some kind of script or plugin? So I don't have to open up every single scene one at a time.
Chris MacDonald
Don't quote me on this, but I doubt it. Scripts run within scenes, not outside of them?
Scott Schroeder
Command line rendering; http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/15/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/index.html?url=files/GUID-07D3D0DD-3C22-4305-B7FA-01508AB73393.htm,topicNumber=d30e451772 If the link takes you to the batch rendering help, just click on the command line rendering link in the Note. Tommy L
There may be some way import x-Ref according to scene state and then batch render? This isnt something Ive come across before, just an idea. If its a one off then maybe just open the files and render them. It will probably take the same amount of time as finding an automated solution. -or you could get an intern... notamondayfan
You might be able to do a post-render script which changes an xref scene, and then renders again.
