knightwalker
Hello everyone of this forum. I'm here to discuss an issue I've been having with installing vray. After i do the installation process of vray then go to 3ds max then navigate to the material editor there is all the vray maps and only one vray material called - VrayGLSLMtl I was just wondering how i am meant to get the rest of the materials. I've already tried reinstalling vray, tried different updates of vray and reinstalling 3ds max it self. Btw i am using a student copy of 3ds max 2012 and a demo version of vray. Thanks for reading and please help!!!
Scott Schroeder
Probably because you haven't assigned Vray as your rendering engine. Go to the common tab in the render set up, go to the bottom of the menu, choose assign production render, and use Vray.

knightwalker
hey Scott I've run into another problem. When ever i change my render setting to Vray my Camera map per pixel map disappears and i was just wondering if there was a way to get it back with out having to change my render setting back to the default. If there is no way around it that is fine.
