TomA
When I go to open files in 3DS Max, I get the following error message, which is preventing me from rendering to Backburner: "FileName: Built-in Class: AnchorHelperObject SuperClass: 0x1160" I am using Max Design 2012 x 64 with Vray 1.50.SP6, and part of my models are originally imported as .dwg via Microstation, although this problem has only appeared very recently. Any ideas what this means and more importantly how to remove this error?
Jose Negrete
now sure what it means but have you tried "dwg cleanup" script? http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/dwg-cleanup
TomA
Thanks Jose, I can't seem to access the .mcr script file through your link. Do you know if there is any other way to obtain it?
Jose Negrete
im able to do it from here. did you try right-clicking on the download link, then save as .mcr?
TomA
I have saved and run it now, thanks again. It doesn't seem to have solved the problem however. I have just started a new file in Max with only Max objects, saved it, reopened it and I get the same error message. Could it be something to do with Backburner, since the only time I encounter any real problems with the error is when submitting to net render? alekzab
As mentioned above is always good to run dwg clean up, its always my first line of defense. But for this particular problem it happens when you save down. Open your file in a newer edition and delete State Sets.....Go to Rendering>State Sets.
