Devin Johnston
Has anyone out there had any trouble exporting with the Windows Media exporter? I have a dual AMD system and every time I try to export using the windows exporter I get a missing Codec error. I've reinstalled the program at least 5 times and nothing ever changes. Do you think it's a problem with Premiere not working with AMD processors? I'm tempted to call Adobe and pay the fee to talk to their tech guy's, but I'm afraid they will blame it on my hardware. Ernest Burden III
I have exported to Windows Media using P6.5 So it does work. But it's been a while...so my memory is faded. Are you setting WM in the project settings, or using the export functions under 'file'?
Devin Johnston
I'm using the Advanced Windows Media Exporter under the Export timeline. I created my own profile that exports a file at a 720x480 screen size and uses a 2MBbps media bit rate. I've done the same install on an older dual Xeon system and it works perfectly. I can't see why I would be having this problem; the only difference in the two systems is the AMD processors and the mother board.

Devin Johnston
I'm using XP Pro as well, I haven't loaded SP2 yet still waiting for the IT guy's to give the OK. I really don't understand what could be causing the problem, it's not the installation since I've done it the same way on my other system and it works fine.
