Jeff Mottle
Just wondered if anyone has a solution to this as it's driving me nuts. Let's say you create a long thin rectangular box (box primative). The pivot point it set to the center of the object by default and any changes to size parameters move outwards from that point. So, what happens if I want to increase the length of the box, but I don't want it to increase from both sides from the center, but from one end. You would think moving the pivot point to the end of the box would allow you to do this, but it doesn't. Am I missing something or is there a setting somewhere I am missing? Jeff Mottle
I did not want to use scaling as I need to make the objects an exact length.
Sawyer
I have run into this problem as well. All I do is convert it to poly, select vertex, change the type in box from absolute to relative and move the corners to the exact dimension. You loose the parametric features though.
