damienmadden
Hi, I have upgraded from AutoCAD 2010 to 2014 and when I right click on a closed polyline in order to create a mass element, the option for "convert to" is not there, the whole right click box is changed. I have attached the 2010 version (they way i want it) and the new 2014 with no 'Convert To' Option. Can someone help, I do all my drawing in mass elements!!!Mass Elements Missing.pdf Thanks Damo
kevinbrown
Hi Damien, Mass Elements are only supported in AutoCAD Architecture and they do not exist in the regular, vanilla version of AutoCAD. Your screenshot showing the cursor menu from version 2014 appears to be from regular AutoCAD, while the image from 2010 version is the AutoCAD Architecture program. kevinbrown
Haha! Don't feel too bad. I have seen lots mix up the two programs before. If you are used to creating your models with mass elements you can use the AutoCAD solids tools to create similar forms with primitives, extrusions, revolves, etc. Or just get a copy of the full AutoCAD Architecture installed. Cheers, Kevin
