howdoishootwebhow
Hello, Before anybody lynches me, I gotta admit that I haven't been working with 3dsMax that long, and am currently still in the process of getting the hang of everything. My only previous experience is using several 3D-Engines and being a professional programmer, although not one specialized in 3D. My current infatuation with 3dsMax is due to the hope of being able to occasionally do my own assets for my programming needs. I know I will need a lot of time to get familiar and useful, but I've been having fun so far. So thanks for any help in advance! With that disclaimer out of the way, I'm currently trying to add a chamfer to the edge a round object I've been modelling, however 3dsMax insists on choosing inconsistent distances between the edges of the chamfered area. The book I'm currently reading insists that this won't happen, so I'm properly spooked. Does anybody know of a way to prevent this from happening and why it does happen?
