gabmass
Guys, I've been working with Vray Materials and Maps so far and never had a chance to learn about the Standard Maps and Materials of 3Ds Max ! so I was wondering If I could make a use of any of them when for rendering as yet I'd stay on using Vray Engine. thanks in advance P.S. I do architectural modeling.
Corey Beaulieu
There is no real need to deal with Standard Materials if you are using Vray, but the maps come in handy all the time. Some of the best ones are Mix, Noise, Falloff, Composite, and Color Correction. You will also find additional Vray Maps in the Standard Maps section for some reason.
