RyanSpaulding
I'm having a hard time finding good 3D to sketch tutorials. I did a search and find a plethora of watercolor effect tutorials...can anyone point me in the direction of how to really get that sketch look. I'm going to start a 3D Architecture knowledge base/tip site and need it for personal use and could also be a help to others.
MJL Imaging
What have you looked into so far? Have you checked out Piranisi or Sketchup? they seem to be pretty good. Otherwise, if you use photoshop, try searching for some photoshop techniques used by other members around here. There are various filters and layering techniques that can be adapted. Good luck. pmanahan
Sometimes I will render a scene without textures, load it into photoshop, copy it to another layer and apply a filter called "find edges" which looks more like an outline. This with other filters gives some fun effects. pmanahan
