Welcome to the wonderful world of Microsoft. It's an IE screw up, at least from what I've been told.

I had the same thing happen, along with no right clicking to view source, then no view source at all (try to do that and see if you can). The only solution I could get was a reinstall of windows because IE is so tightly integrated with Windows, installing again rarely does anything.

On the bright side, for me, it went away after a while and worked again. But I've had problems with IE on and off, and I've reinstalled W2K several times since then. My conclusion: IE stinks (but I keep using, for some reason).

I posted the same question a while back on the SU forum and was told to clear out the temperory internet files and that did the trick. My temp directory had accumulated 28,000 files and I did not bother to find out how much disk space that took, but it probably was a pretty bid portion of the hard drive.

As soon as I'm forced to save as a BMP (which is larger than the jpegs, go figure that one out) I know I have to delete all the cached crap that MSIE holds onto.

Thank crazy homeless guy and mwhite did advise clear tempory internet file..

I didn't realise there were massive tempory internet file..

I did clear out unimportant file by using:-

1) Disk Clean Up

2) Spyware Ad-Aware 6.0

3) clear History list...

I will try keep it mind every few weeks to clear up...

Cheer thank everyone...

I am not a big fan of IE because of all of the spyware/popups that active x likes bring up. I prefer mozilla firefox. It works great, I don't get popups, my tempory internet files stay clear, and I have never had this problem. I think microsoft is going to piss us all off enough that we are going to switch to mac comps instead. Just my thoughts.
