levu
Hi, Im considering buying one of these cards for modeling and animation. What is the best option that i can go with betwwen Quadro K2000 vs Quadro 4000 vs GTX 760. I work mainly with 3dsmax, I do modeling and animations. AJLynn
I'd take the GTX 760 (or something cheaper if there's a budget constraint). With recent versions of Max you don't need a Quadro - it runs Direct3D and Geforce and Radeon cards work fine. I also wouldn't take a Quadro 4000 these days. It's older tech and not as energy efficient as current options.
levu
@Andrew Lynn: Thanks for your reply. But will GTX 760 performs in viewport smoothly than the Quadro K2000? In my country the quadro K2000 costs $520 while the GTX 760 costs about $325. What i need is the viewport performace while handling high poly counts model for modeling and animation.
