TomD_Arch
3ds Max Design 2013 I went to Renderer tab> Sampling Quality>Spatial Contrast to adjust and I can't seem to adjust to anything below 0.1. Not the R,G,B or A. Anyone have any idea what setting I may have accidentally adjusted that is preventing me from dialing into anything between 0.000 and 0.100. TomD_Arch
So I opened Max on another computer where I could dial in the Spatial Contrast to 0.04. No problem. Saved the file. Took to the computer I was having an issue with and opened the file and it wont allow me to enter a Spatial contrast below 0.1 so clearly this is isolated to the program on this one machine. I am at a loss here. Pulling my hair out!!!
John Dollus
when you opened the file on the problem system, was it showing the proper .04 value you had set on the normal system?
TomD_Arch
John sorry for delayed reply, I've been out sick since last week (sorry if TPI). No, it was not showing the proper 0.04. Also, to update: I have installed 2014 and it seems to be working fine. Had to bribe my software guy with a lunch as he wasn't really ready to install it yet, but I'm just happy to have a program that works again. However, this does seem like a very weird problem to have and would still like to figure out how to fix it. Even sent ticket to Autodesk.
