jacobz3d
Hello everyone In the recent days I have a problem that drives me crazy I use the MAX2013 sp5 with VRAY ON INTEL CORE I7 PC 3.40GHZ with ATI GRAPHIC CARD REDON 6800 and 24 GIGA RAM and SSD HD(M4-CT128M4SSD2) Now when I open almost any file of max the ram memory goes to the maximum amount then crush.. when i check the same files on 3dmax 2014 it is work fine. when i checked on another computer with only 8 GIG RAM and it succeeded to open the file fine. i did some research on the web and i didn't find any solution , most of what i understand is maybe to use clean the file with clean script on max listner. but i'm already using the clean script by Andreas Meissner. another test i did when i open the file with 3dmax 2014 i deleted vray proxys and enble bitmap proxy and save the file for max 2013 then open it with max 2013 , but still not working... i tried to install 3dmax 2013 agian and the problem still ther. i read about Swap space \ page file and i use 2 page file safe, and i tried to work without or even with different partition and the problem still there. i really don't know what to do plz help if someone have the solution... Scott Schroeder
Are you checking to make sure that cleaner script actually worked? What version of max is on the 8 gig computer? It might be a bad install of 2013.

RyderSK
I had the same problems with "Vanilla" 3dsMax 2013 when it first came due to memory leak. Did you install all the available service packs ? I think this was fixed in the very first. That is one solution (which solved it for me).
