Chris MacDonald
How do you get a bitmap to display at full resolution in the viewport? I'm working on a huge site, and have a 12,000px bitmap for the background and want to line it up with the cad/survey data - but the image is far too pixellated to fine tune it. Chris MacDonald
Never mind, fixed it. Anyone else wanting to know; you need to go to View/Configure Viewport Background and click on the Display Performance tab and set the resolution you want the viewport images to display at. notamondayfan
I use this script http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/nitrous-texture-tweaker as you can change the map resolution per selection so you don't have all textures in your viewport at full, which might slow down viewport performance.
