julioarboleda
Hello, I've been playing around with Mental Ray Arch&Design material templates but found an issue I've been trying to solve without any luck. The bitmaps for each template are black (please see image attached) it seems the directory for these bitmaps has move and Arch&Desing can not find it. How can I repair this issue. I'm using 3ds max 2011 (no design). The renderer is Mental Ray. Please any help is appreciated.
AJLynn
This isn't really the forum for this, but... Your bitmaps are showing as black because, as you noted, the JPG files aren't where you need them so Max can't create the bitmap map. You can use file search on your PC to try and find them, or copy the missing folders from another PC, or reinstall the software.
julioarboleda
Thanks Andrew for your reply. I'll be posting in the other forum. This issue isn't allowing me to go further with the Mastering Mental Ray Book... Thanks for your help.
