Corey Beaulieu
Make sure that your materials are UNC pathed.... Shift+T> Select all maps > Resolve UNC You can make this a default in preferences.

cg_Butler
This automatic pathing never works for me in max 2014. I have to do groups of the same path manually. Have you made it work?
danieldelgado
No i can´t and i dont know how to make the paths manually, also i dont know if i have to copy the material library to the other computers to make it work, also i dont know the difference between the status on the ASSET TRACKING (Shift+T) OK FOUND if u guys know a video to mnake it work i will appreciate it. regards From Colombia
tmacbriar
If you map the drive containing the materials exactly the same on the slaves as on the workstation and define the materials using that mapped drive location it will work. cg_Butler
To manually path them all you do is right click on the path and choose set path and then choose the location on the network where it is. If you don't understand what a UNC path is it would be something like \\server\c\jobs\house\maps rather than Z:\\jobs\house\maps. I hope that makes sense. It's not difficult so give it a go. Just make sure you path through network neighbourhood, rather than a mapped drive on your computer. If your network machines can't see the location of your maps, then you will need to resolve that. tmacbriar
You can use a mapped drive as long as the drive is mapped exactly the same way on the slaves and is shared on the network. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk
