Shane Gee
Hi I wonder if anyone can help? I am busy with an interior scheme and the client wants an interactive colour and material solution for 3 interiors space of the showroom. With an interactive website for prospective buyers to select the space they like. There are 3 rendered viewpoint with 16 different colour/texture themes for each space. Can anyone suggest a plugin/script software that might help me with this task instead of me rendering 3 x 16 images? Your help and advice is most welcome! Thanks Shane
M V
Last I heard, Colimo Motiva 1.7 supported V-Ray now. This is what I would look into.
John Dollus
Look up the use of Scene States. When combined with the batch render tool, this can be setup quite nicely
Francisco Penaloza
If this will be web based, to most used option would be Flash, and if you want to go beyond you can use Unity. Now if you don't know anything about Flash or Unity I would recommend contact some on with experience on doing this. It will take some time for a newcomer to figure out something like this, it is possible, and it should not be that expensive to hire.
Shane Gee
Thanks for all the help. I like the Colimo soultion for Vray, definately going to try that out. Not just for this project but it looks like it can help for other interior projects. As we all know th client likes to change things and it looks like it could save us a lot of time. Shane Hi Shane, I'd be interested to see how that goes for you (or anyone else) if you don't mind, as I've been looking into it myself.
Crazy Homeless Guy
If it is for wide distribution I would look into having it coded with XML. If done right this would prevent you from needing to use 3rd party plugins.
bulenthalibram
Once I have tried Colimo Motiva demo, I wanted to have control over 6 materials and I scene which takes usually 1 hour to render, took about 6. Colimo makes extra full render for each material.
