Moving multiple spline vertex to 0

I don't think tere is a way to make vertices on seperate splines all be at a certain height by doing them all in one go. You would either have to attached them all together and do it. Or alternatively, select all off your splines and scale them in the z axis until all the vertices are flat. Just keep scaling and scaling to make sure they are flat. Then move then all to the desired height.

There might be a script that can be written that can do it on multiple splines. There is one called vertex palcer CLICK HERE but you will either have to do each spline individually or attach them all together, run the script, and then detach them all.

If I understood the OP correctly, ( all vertices of a single spline ) just enter vertex mode, Ctrl+A, Scale Transform mode, Gizmo to center, set absolute Z scale value to 0. This flattens a spline.

i like to right-click the spinner on the z value in the transform type in window (w/ selection gizmo set to center) :)

Hi, sorry to wake this thread to life again. I have been struggling with the same issue right now, getting spline vertices aligned to the same z.

The script here did the trick for aligning all vertices with maintaining the height on any geometry made by "Enable in Renderer/Viewport" tickboxes.

Anyhow, this still doesn't solve the trick with how to align the selected vertices in a spline to lowest/median/highest (Z) with keeping the geometry height. I wonder if someone has found the solution for this? Some times, making the entire spline planar simply doesn't do it...

Thanks. Not using subobject mode makes the entire geometry made by the "Enable in render/viewport" flat. Entering the Segment subobject mode, however, does the trick with aligning two vertices to their average Z with the NU scale tool. For me, this is next to the best solution, but I am still looking for a way to align one spline's vertex to another's Z.

As some others I've seen writing: it's strange if it isn't any such basic function implemented in max?
