Scott Schroeder
Do you have lights? Do you have a scene for the ball to sit in? Do you have anything to reflect? Vray doesn't make that stuff up, it's not magic. Are you using Vray materials? What is your texture? Like Johnny Five once said, "I need more input." salvador
LOL @BossBo: Even though I also need more input, I looks like you don't have any lights in the scene and you are rendering with default lights and no GI; rays aren't bouncing into anything (actually not bouncing at all) and there's nothing to reflect; maybe your material is not supported by V-Ray. Don't hate the plugin just because you are not setting it up correctly. I suggest you take a couple of hours of reading to get yourself started. Hope it helps. CJI
Like Johnny Five once said, "I need more input." Love this! Must watch this again, and soon. More on topic, you need to go right back to basics. Read manuals and do tutorials. People can give you tips here, and help with workarounds/problems etc. But no one can or will teach you how to use the software, you have to take the time yourself. Its a hard road to walk but the journey is worth taking the time to do. Maybe i'm wrong and you do indeed have a bug, and if that's the case i'm sorry for jumping the gun. But from the info you have posted it doesn't seem that way.

The problem is that we not getting more natural texture when we applying the Vray material. But i guess we need more play with the settings. Here one more sample with Vray shiny gold texture: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7xta8uqGHJqdEVqdDZ6RXhMeHc/edit?usp=drive_web As you see the texture not that natural.. but we gonna try play more with the settings...
