timurkhan
Hi guys, I used to work with 3DS Max 2012 until I had some problems. So I installed 2013 version and everything was working again (rendering + scenes). But now the software is lagging. When I try to push the camera in the viewport it takes at least 2-3 seconds until it reacts and then it's starts lagging. It's so bad that I really can't work in this conditions. I thought it was just an update for my graphic card (Nvidia Quadro 4000). I did that but didn't change anything. Also selecting objects, opening menu's (Edit, Tools, etc.) is lagging. I really can't understand what the problem is... Before everything was working really smooth but now... PC specs: Intel i7 3920 3.8Ghz 16GB RAM Nvidia Quadro 4000 Some suggestions what the problem may be? Thanks!
AJLynn
If you start 3DSMax using Change Graphics Mode, what mode are you in?
timurkhan
If you start 3DSMax using Change Graphics Mode, what mode are you in? How do you start using graphics mode? I tried adding -h. in the target (properties) but this was not valid..
timurkhan
Found it I'm in Nitrous. Try another?
timurkhan
I tried Direct 3D no changes. OpenGL was even worse... Back at Nitrous now. It's really the whole software that's working slow... Loading scenes (These are heavy scenes though. Whole interiors but it used to work fine) takes long too. If you drag 3DS Max across the screen it lags too in the beginning.

timurkhan
I've managed to do a render with Vray but it took a lot more time than usual... When I was adjusting my camera the software was still lagging but it was less than in the beginning. Some more advice? Thanks!
