Michael J. Brown
This perspective viewport clipping hasn't always happened, and I've looked in just about every options dialog for a toggle to control it, but keep coming up empty. It'd be nice to be able to zoom close in to an object without the view automatically slicing my model up. Does anyone know how to turn this clipping off? (This is not 'camera' clipping. This is happening in the perspective view.) Thanks!
matthewgriswold
Looks like the scene or model might be out of scale. Too small to zoom into? Might check system units settings, or the distance between the model and 0,0,0. Just some starting points....
notamondayfan
You should just be able to turn off viewport clipping in the perspective view. What unit scale are you using?
Michael J. Brown
Yeah fellas, something strange is going on because I don't have this issue when starting up a new scene - even when using the same system units as this one. Which, by the way, are set to Feet ( and US Standard of feet w/decimal inches). BTW, my Viewport Clipping in perspective is not active. I've had to switch system units a couple of times throughout the course of building this scene to get objects created by someone else to merge properly. That must be what this behavior stems from.
