TomA
How do you achieve greater edge definition and greater contrast between adjacent faces in Vray, through lighting and shading, as opposed to effects like Vray Toon, EdgesTex or Vray Dirt? Thanks
Stephen Thomas
I would imagine by having contrast in your lighting i.e. more direct light and shadow rather than ambient lighting that is too uniform. Sun or key light position relative to camera can have a huge impact on this. Also having enough subdivs in both your GI solution and image sampling settings will help to pick up edges and fine detail.
