Jeff Mottle
I'm only just learning Vray myself so I'm not altogether sure. What version are you using? If you are using the public beta (1.45.70) did you change the resolution of the final rendered image from the size that the Irrandiance map was rendered at. Somehow I doubt this is the problem, but worth a try I guess. If you did be sure to unckeck "Limit Search Range"

If you did be sure to unckeck "Limit Search Range" try using a vray material.i had the same problem before if i made use of standard mats. also, try increasing your reflection/refraction depth, that may be the cause.or, increase image sampling. Da_RoCk
Hi, can u post the settings of your glass so that we can examine it further?
Tim Nelson
do you have the reflection/refraction 'max depth' checked under global switches. if so, that might be it. I've run into the same problem before on exteriors, even using all vray mats.
Life Style
Is it divergent surfaces? I get the same effect if I forget to give some depth to the actual glass pane when using the box command.
Weider
Hi, I think I know the problem. I'm almost sure it's because the width of your glass is 0. Maybe you've created a box or a line and you let the width to 0.0 . Take a look a this, I've already the same problem and it was for this reason. If you really want to have something at 0 of width, you could use a plane, I think it's ok with it.
hockley91
I agree that it's a glass with zero thickness. I don't why Vray does that, but it does. I had this problem plenty of times, before I figured it out! Hockley91

gayathri
My exterior glass is not reflecting the sky. What is the reason? Where to place light for the windows?
