Zdravko Barisic
Hi, What workflow would you pick up for plenty of residental houses? Nothing special about geometry, simple northamerican west/prairie style, with flat walls, no wood boards over it... 1. 3DS MAX with AEC walls, etc...? 2. 3DS MAX with some plugin like FutureArch? 3. ArchiCAD with 3DS export, with basic-medium level skills? .... I would really appreciate every suggestion! Thanx in advance!

Ciro Sannino
In case you need to model some roof this plugin is very fast and simple! I wrote something about here: http://www.cg-blog.com/index.php/2011/10/10/3d-roof-script.htm hope this helps
Scott Schroeder
What Justin said. Just re-use items as well. You probably have the same windows and doors so only make one and copy it around.
John Dollus
archicad would be a good choice as you can create your basic elements there (doors, windows, trim profiles etc) and use the procedural modeling tools in archicad to knock those out in seconds. for repetitive modeling with slight variations in dimensions only between house models, any bim tool like Archicad is going to be much more efficient than a poly based program like Max
Corey Beaulieu
You can also just model one or two houses and then get creative with the symmetry modifier. Also, if you model using a certain dimensional standard, you could just create a "kit-of-parts" and mix and match to your hearts content.
heni30
I don't know what your hourly rate is but there are a lot of autocad people out there looking for work that you can sub it out to for a very reasonable rate; epecially if it's a biggish job. Us artists have better things to do.
