natasalekkou
Hello, I'm facing a strange problem here. I have put a plane as backround in my scene and it rendered black. I think there is no problem with the material, because I assingned the material to another object and it rendered fine. It also appears fine on the viewport. Any ideas?? Zdravko Barisic
Vray SUN/SKy system? If it is, yoy should put VrayLight material on it, with intensity of 10-100units, try it on your own. 1. Put standard Vray mat 2. make the UVW correct 3. Put the VrayLight material, with sam diffuse map in diffuse slot. Good luck!
joseluisnoain
Hi, without knowing anything else of your scene, it seems like you need to flip polygon normals. You can do it through "edit poly" modifier. Also with another modifier called "normal" . Besides that, I always work with an option called "force 2 sided" activated in render settings. Hope it will work for you
natasalekkou
Hello, yes I use Vray sun and environment. Truth is I just wanted to check light cache and irradiance map, so I put override material to the scene to render faster. When I turned it off, this perticular plane rendered black... I used Vray mat, UVWmap was ok, everything was working alright until that. Anyway, problem was solved with the VrayLight mat, so thanks a lot!
