A plane is rendered black! (3ds max)

Hi, without knowing anything else of your scene, it seems like you need to flip polygon normals.

You can do it through "edit poly" modifier. Also with another modifier called "normal" .

Besides that, I always work with an option called "force 2 sided" activated in render settings.

Hello, yes I use Vray sun and environment. Truth is I just wanted to check light cache and irradiance map, so I put override material to the scene to render faster. When I turned it off, this perticular plane rendered black... I used Vray mat, UVWmap was ok, everything was working alright until that.

Anyway, problem was solved with the VrayLight mat, so thanks a lot!
